Alaverdi                                            Visit to monastery of Alaverdi (VI c), the monastery’s cathedral is
                                                           dedicated to St. George (XI c.), Excursion in wine cellar (XVI c.),  
                                                           which was a part of  the monastery, where monks made very special
                                                           monastery wine. Archeologists found more than 40 quevris,
                                                           large clay vessel dug into a soil in which wine ferments.

Day 2:     Nekresi – Kindzmaraulis Marani – Khareba – Velistsikhe  – Tbilisi     ( B / L /  )

Kindzmarauli                                   Meeteing with the wine specialist in “Kindzmaraulis marani”
                                                            wineries, wine tasting. (Kindzmarauli  micro-zone).

Lunch   –   at the restaurant with traditional Kakhetian meals and wine

Kvareli  micro-zone                        Meeteing with the wine specialist in “Khareba” wineries. Visit the wine
                                                            tunnel that is carved 7 km into the rock. It is unique with its location and
                                                            creates one of the best conditions for wine storage.
                                                            You can also taste wine in the tunnel hall.
